Job Title: IT Support Specialist.
Department: APP-IT.
Reports to: VP, Corporate Compliance & Security?.
Experience Required: At least 2 years working in a similar support role.
Salary Range: $48,000 - $53,000
Supervisory/Training Responsibilities: This role does not supervise/manage others. This is an Individual Contributor role with expectations below.
Schedule: 7:00AM - 4:00 ET or 8:00AM – 5:00PM ET.
Job Location: Remote, however MUST be located within a 30 mile radius of Atlanta, GA. Occasional travel to Atlanta headquarters anticipated on a weekly/bi-monthly basis. Remote in the United States*.
Job Overview
In this role, the support person will oversee a portion of our business IT systems and assets, assist with maintenance and integrations, and provide training and support as needed. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of computer hardware and software, and remote employee device and access management following industry best practices and frameworks such as NIST and ISO. Engaging with employees throughout the company, the IT support person will have an immediate impact on the efficiency of our operations and overall growth.

- You are equipped with an understanding of Remote Employee access management.
- You have outstanding attention to detail, organizational, communication, documentation and relationship building skills conducive to driving consensus.
- You have an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects at once.
- You have strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You possess a Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree in a related field, such as Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or Networking or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proficiency with work ticketing systems (JIRA), Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), VPN and other industry standard software .
- Can self-manage work from start to finish.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
Some of your Key Responsibilities will Include:
- Manage inbound requests for workstation issues, access requests and new software requests following agreed on procedures.
- Resolving and or routing IT support requests from employees for in scope software and systems.
- Execute requests for access following required security and documentation processes.
- Review and route requests for net new software for company use through the approval process.
- Provision & decommission laptops and other work equipment following security standards.
- Contribute to evolving the current processes for efficiency and the changing threatscape.
- Monitoring and reporting on various systems and logs.
- Changing configurations, settings and permissions.
- Resolving employee issues related to job scope.
- Assist in establishing and improving (automating) support, compliance, and maintenance processes.
- Ability to collaborate with team members to solve the business needs while still adhering to security standards and approvals.
- Must have the ability to say “no” when appropriate.
- Bring attention to reoccurring issues and work with team members on solutions.
- Be professional in all written time logs and documents.
- Other duties as the role evolves.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Clear understanding of confidentiality and have the relevant skills to handle sensitive information and data.
- Past experience with managing IT requests for a remote employee workforce following compliance requirements.
Technology:
- Laptop / workstation provisioning, maintenance, and shipping.
- Industry standard toolset administration for workstation software (Office, google workspaces, Adobe, Google workspace, Jira, etc.).
- Experience with some form of remote desktop management software, such as Kandji, Jamf, or similar (that would work on windows, mac, linux).
- Experience with Datadog or other monitoring software.
- Antivirus / Anti-spyware software.
