Position Type: Full-time, In-Office (potential for hybrid or remote, after settling into the role)

 We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in the general contractor construction industry. This role is crucial in expanding B2 Constructors' footprint across private and public sectors. You’ll be responsible for generating leads, securing new business, and fostering long-term relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to secure new clients and projects.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and facilitate client meetings.
  • Identify and cultivate new leads by attending industry events, networking, and leveraging strategic partnerships.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to transition new clients seamlessly from the business development phase to estimating and project execution.
  • Provide weekly reporting on business development activities and progress toward sales goals.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities to strategically position B2 Constructors for RFQs/RFPs.
  • Manage business development budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor construction activity and real estate trends to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets through lead generation and client acquisition.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of business development experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • Proven track record of securing new business and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead presentations and meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, estimating tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead projects from inception through client onboarding.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and attend events to represent B2 Constructors.
