About the Role
As a Development Manager on our External Relations team, you will drive our individual fundraising strategy and expand key revenue streams. Working with the External Relations team, you will contribute to our existing strong growth trajectory, while driving further transformative growth and impact. Since 2017 we’ve raised $230M+ from GiveWell alone, and in parallel have roughly doubled our other sources of funding.
You will be directly responsible for raising funds through mid-level and major gift prospect cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship—focusing on gifts ranging from $10,000 to $100,000. You will have the opportunity to lead special projects to increase revenue, support leadership in their engagement with donors and prospects, and help shape the processes that strengthen our development efforts.
You will report to the Associate Director, Philanthropy, and may have supervisory responsibilities in the future depending on team needs.
