SPANG Career Collective, a recruiting agency, is working on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing technology company in the government contracting space, to find an Account Executive to join their team.
About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in helping government contractors leverage our client's platform for efficient contract management, proposal development, and capture processes. You will become a product expert, guiding customers from discovery calls to onboarding, and ensuring their successful integration into the platform.
In this role, you will:
- Run discovery calls and demo the platform to potential clients.
- Onboard new customers and support them throughout their journey with the platform.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams by sharing customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM and contribute to the growth of the company’s presence in the D.C. office.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with:
- Software sales experience, including software demos and working closely with clients, preferably in early-stage startups.
- Understanding of government contracting, AI, and how technology can address challenges in this sector.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to break down complex concepts.
- Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Commitment to working autonomously with strong prioritization abilities.

- Location: This is a remote role to start but will transition to a hybrid model, requiring occasional presence in Washington, D.C. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the D.C. area.
- Compensation: Base salary of $100,000 with an on-target earnings (OTE) of $200,000, plus equity options (0.1-0.5%).
