Sales Specialist

We are looking for a talented Sales Specialist within Sample Management to join our growing team on the West Coast at SPT Labtech. You'll be based remotely, ideally close to the California region but can be flexible on location on the West Coast and you should have experience selling capital equipment within the Life Sciences industry.

• Having a perfect command of the products and services programs and knowing how to propose a global solution by cross selling our product range.
• Ensuring that application knowledge is maintained at an optimal level by relying on the support functions (training, binomial tour, e-learning).
• Being responsible for CRM data and management

Beneficial Skills/Experience

• Ideally, 3+ years of experience in a capital sales specialist role is required. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in selling automated Sample Management/Lab automation technologies in the Western portion of the United States market.
• An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a Life Science discipline is mandatory, given the background required for the role.
• Ability to travel up to 50% across the Western portion of the United States.
• Familiarity with using CRM as a central sales tool.
• Established network across the Western portion of the United States.
• Proven success and ability to develop business.
• Ability to conduct presentations or complex demonstrations in front of varying audiences.
• Autonomy, team spirit, and remote work capabilities.
