Valley Services is a family owned residential and construction solutions provider, conveniently located in the heart of downtown San Jose. It consists of three divisions: the transfer station, rental toilets, fencing and dumpsters, and site demolition. As a Customer Service Representative at Valley Services, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and resolving any emerging issues that our customer accounts may encounter. Your responsibilities will include providing accurate information, addressing inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction across various communication channels.

Compensation: $23.00 - $26.00

Requirements

  • Answer incoming customer calls and handle order placements, billing issues, product problems, service questions, and general concerns via phone, email, and social media.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients, working to establish positive rapport with every caller.
  • Ensure customer information is consistently updated in the database.
  • Collaborate with the management team to stay informed about product knowledge and company policies.
  • Uphold Valley Services' reputation for excellent customer service by effectively problem-solving and turning frustrated clients into loyal customers.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated patience and professionalism in all customer interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in computer use, including a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and G-Suite. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Competence in performing basic mathematical calculations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Experience
  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Experience in the waste and or construction industry
