Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Onsite - San Diego
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to identify and engage with facilities and organizations in the clinical laboratory sector to establish partnerships that foster long term business development.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, marketing and communication teams, and researchers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for partnership and develop proposals to secure revenue
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives, including product launches, content creation, event sponsorships, and more.
- Manage and track partnership metrics, including engagement, reach, and revenue generation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or related field. MBA is preferred.
- +3 years experience in IVD or medical device-related industry
- Experience developing sales processes and continuously maintaining pipelines
- Experience in IVD sales or some biopharma application sales
- Knowledge of sales as it relates to manufacturing businesses, distribution relationships, white label, production, etc
- Data-backed track record of success in sales
- Background in Biology/Immunology or Biotechnology field (Preferred)
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time including occasional weekends and international travel
