Blew & Associates, P.A. is a highly regarded national firm specializing in land surveying, engineering, and environmental services. With an impressive track record spanning over 130 years in the industry, we are currently seeking a talented Accounting Administrator to join our dynamic Accounting team. The position will be based at our corporate headquarters in Fayetteville, AR.
Responsibilities
- Process expense reports using SAP Concur software, ensuring all expenses are properly coded and approved.
- Follow up with employees to obtain required details/documentation for expense reports.
- Update and maintain records of all company expenditures, including company credit cards and employee reimbursements.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with the company’s credit card policies and procedures.
- Perform light Accounts Payable tasks, including invoice entry, payment processing, and vendor management.
- Perform light Accounts Receivable tasks, including invoice generation, payment receipt, and customer reconciliation.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the accounting team, such as data entry, filing, and ad hoc reporting.
- Conducting periodic audits of all receipts to ensure accounting accuracy.
Requirements
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Experience with SAP, Quickbooks, or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
