Full Job Description
The Client Intake Information Liaison is responsible for following up on the initial intake Client call to assist in gathering, completing, and ensuring a seamless process for new clients prior to attorney assignment to ensure all necessary documentation and information are collected and organized at the start of a new client file. This role involves communication with potential clients, internal staff, and external entities to verify and process client details efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Lead Management - Confirm completion of client leads from the previous day by sending coordinating with Client Intake Specialists, verification that the fee agreement is signed and dated.
- Client Communication - Review initial intake form; contact client to confirm all relevant demographic data (e.g. personal client data and documents, incident details and documents, etc.) set the tone for expectations; answer any client questions;
- Case File Creation - Assign a file number and add it to Intake database software, create a new case file, and upload relevant documents from database to appropriate directory.
- Research and Verification - Conduct lien searches, bankruptcy checks, parcel searches, background checks, and conflict checks where applicable.
- Client Support - Refer the client to treatment and confirm an appointment is scheduled if necessary; create detailed notes for any conversations with client in appropriate database(s).
- Internal Coordination - Send case assignment emails to the appropriate team member; notify the client of legal team assignment.
Requirements
- Experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in plaintiff personal injury is required
- Proficient in Spanish and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in case management systems and legal research tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of legal intake procedures and documentation requirements
