BACR’s Career Pathways division serves as the link to jobs, careers and post-secondary education. The Workforce Literacy Program Coordinator ensures participants have an understanding of high-growth sectors and careers, vocational training programs, and immediate employment opportunities, as well as the literacy requirements to access the careers/jobs. Program Coordinator works with participants one on one in order to create participant centered career and education plans, which are designed to help them reach the short and long-term goals that will lead to economic self-sufficiency.
Applicants should have experience serving adults over 18 years old within the following priority populations: Disconnected from education, unemployed and underemployed, immigrants, and pregnant and parenting.
