Position Summary

Successful candidate must possess the willingness & ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to: practical or written skills assessments. Computer-based training/ testing; medical, psychological, background and substance abuse screening(s).

• Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
• Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
• Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
• Select appropriate machines and position or load material for a job
• Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine etc.

Requirements

Qualified Junior Pipefitters should have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• Good basic math skills (“shop math”- basic fractions, decimals, reading a tape measure, etc.) and solid skills using basic tools.
• Skills reading blueprints is a benefit, but training is available.
• Manufacturing, CNC Machining, assembly facility pipefitting, or any experience in a manufacturing environment is a benefit.
• Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
