An advanced international company in the Sterling Heights, MI. area is seeking several Entry Level/Junior Pipefitters for long-term positions with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Jr. Trades, Recent High School Graduates, or experienced Pipefitters looking for a company that offers excellent pay, medical, and a great home/life balance!
Requirements
Qualified Junior Pipefitters should have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:
- Good basic math skills (“shop math”- basic fractions, decimals, reading a tape measure, etc.) and solid skills using basic tools.
- Skills reading blueprints is a benefit, but training is available.
- Manufacturing, CNC Machining, assembly facility pipefitting, or any experience in a manufacturing environment is a benefit.
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
Benefits
Junior Pipefitter rates are anticipated to be in the $18-22/hour range based on each candidate’s experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours.
