Laboratory Assistant

1. Data entry – transposing data into Excel, Access, and writing reports.
2. Writing Technical reports using Excell, Access,  and word, etc. 
3. Manages office and laboratory supply inventory and processes office and laboratory supply orders
4. Receives/delivers packages, mail, and paperwork
5. Receives laboratory supplies
6. Follows technical and nontechnical procedures required to process and submit samples. 
7. Forwards accessioned samples to designated laboratory location(s)
8. Receives client orders and ships materials to clients
9. Transmits reports and invoices to clients
10. Drafts and sends client notifications
11. Performs general laboratory and office cleaning
12. Answers telephones and routes callers to appropriate staff person. Correctly takes phone messages and directs messages to the appropriate person.
13. Assists in the drafting of methods and protocols
