Sankofa Montessori is the only State Charter School Commission-approved tuition-free K-6 Public Montessori Charter school in Georgia. We were approved in July of 2022 and will open our doors in the Fall of 2023 to welcome 168 Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders. Our vision is to awaken the inherent greatness in each child. We achieve our vision by providing a culturally responsive, child- and family-centered Montessori education so we can develop in all of our students the knowledge, skill, and agency to have a life of purpose.

We are seeking our next Part-Time Community Enrichment Teachers for our Moore County Campus who will be all-in on our mission and who will lead and teach Community Enrichment classes including but not limited to the following areas: sports and fitness, culinary, arts, computer, and martial arts.

Veritas is looking for an Enrichment Teacher to plan and deliver a three week-long academic experience for students during Summer Academy. The Enrichment Teacher would plan and deliver daily enrichment experiences and lessons, monitor student progress, and report outcomes to the Summer Academy director. The goal of the week is for more students to get targeted academic support to help them meet grade level standards as we support our students to recover from learning loss during the pandemic.
