Bidding and Cost Estimator

Summary: The bidding and cost estimator is required to develop cost structures and quotations for all inquiries from the customer, as well as developing bid proposals for current and new business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quotation Development

• Analyze scope of work being quoted to fully understand customer needs
• Identifies, coordinates, and completes team feasibility requirements for all new projects
• Generates quote model for the quotations, comprising of routing and bill of material
• Develop the quote to customer and prepares for staff review
• Maintains an organized tracking system

Customer Purchase Order Receipt / New Project communication

• - Develop an information transfer package that the quote was developed to and communicate to the organization via a quote review meeting.
