Responsibilities include patient interaction. Conduct patient interviews, collect pertinent test results and ensure examination/prodedure rooms are properly prepared. Aid in procedures and minor surgeries while accurately transcribing physician assessments. Facilitate post-examination tasks such as ordering tests, electronically prescribing medications, and delivering pre/post-operative instructions as needed. Collaborate with physicians to review test results and address patient concerns, promptly prioritizing follow-up phone calls.
