Lead Teacher in Michigan

The Breakie Bunch is adding a GSRP Classroom and we are looking for an awesome person, who wants the opportunity to grow with us. We are looking for an experienced lead teacher who is ready to take the next step into GSRP. This person would Implement the curriculum, orchestrate assessments in the classroom, ensure the health and safety of everyone in the classroom, Build quality relationships with the families and continue to work on their own professional development. Time management skills are a must and the ability to take initiative will be crucial as we do not believe in micromanaging.

• Being a support to the teachers with a positive attitude
• Create a monthly newsletter to be put out the last week of the month
• Create a monthly calendar with activities to be put out the last week of the month
• Make sure cleaning lists are being initialed and address it if not

We are looking for an experienced lead teacher who is ready to take the next step into a dual role position. This person would lead the classroom and take on administrative responsibilities. Time management skills are a must and the ability to take initiative will be crucial as we do not believe in micromanaging. The assistant directors’ responsibility is to assist the director in any job-related task assigned to them. Having an overall understanding of the expectations of the teachers and overseeing that they are being met. Knowing all families at the center and building relationships with them is a must. A lead teacher's responsibilities would include lesson planning, leading the class and team, building relationships with parents and overall just being a rock star!
