Working with teen individuals and their families served by Dept. of Developmental Services. The worker will work with the child in both their home and community. Some of the job requirements are assisting with and teaching ADLs and IADLs,
following behavior plans, getting the teen involved in his or her community through socialization..The team member will be required to attend all DDS and office meetings,attend IEPs and work with any other agencies involved. There may also be doctor appts and any other areas the family requests assistance in.
Requirements
At least two years experience in working with Developmental Delays, High School Diploma or equivalent. CPR/First Aide (will train ) MAP(will train) Valid driver's license and own automobile. The individual will also be expected to attend all trainings and complete required on-lilne training.
