Floor Lead

Parallel Employment is a leading staffing agency, partnering with businesses across various industries to provide reliable and skilled professionals. Currently, we are assisting one of our clients in filling the position of Floor Lead.

The Floor Lead is responsible for overseeing the production floor, supporting the supervisor and production staff, and ensuring smooth operations. This is a full-time position with 1st.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Troubleshooting challenges on the warehouse floor
• Communicating challenges and solutions to leadership
• Rotate personnel to maintain the production flow
• Generating LTL BOLs
• Closing orders within JDE
• Ensuring proper loading of palletized shipments
• Monitoring and maintaining communications with carriers
• Opening/closing when required
• Ensuring proper scanning of employees per work order/client
• Conducting training with floor personnel
• Assessment of QC
• Line Setup
• Ability to process parcel @ meter

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities under tight timelines
• Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks effectively and efficiently and prioritize multiple projects and requests
• Willingness to engage/operate on the floor
• Team player: someone who excels in making those around them better
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel)/willingness to learn
• Experience with AS400 or similar database systems preferred
