Full Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Use data, experience, and analytics to identify potential power generation product solutions beyond traditional mtu generator set focused offering.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Stay up to date on key power generation market trends, their drivers, and how we might respond from a technical innovation perspective.
  • Seek and develop vendor relationships for new solutions and applications to meet market trends.
  • Provide technical support, guidance, examples, and other technical arguments to support and influence customer solutions.
  • Conducts negotiations according to company guidelines.
  • Become familiar with base product offerings, sales tools and systems for 4-6 mo. by:
  • Managing customer relationships to achieve sales goals and executes sales plans within an assigned sales territory or accounts.
  • Selling company products by developing new prospects and accounts.
  • Analyzing customer needs and interests and determine how company products and services can best meet their needs.
  • Achieve sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Develop relationships to generate customer goodwill and loyalty.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of relevant sales experience required and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating strategic relationships, and achieving sales targets.
  • Demonstrated success in understanding technical needs and providing effective solutions to major accounts.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite programs such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Benefits

Compensation: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 Yearly + commission

Travel: Up to 25% travel expected

Sign-On Bonus: Available depending on experience
