As a strategic and process-driven Regional Sales Manager, you will analyze customer application needs with a consultative approach, translating those needs into the optimal selection of Radiant Vision Systems' light or color measurement systems that surpass customer expectations. We seek a proactive individual who will not only identify and create new market opportunities but will also actively pursue and secure them, driving growth beyond the maintenance of current business levels and relationships within our established long-term accounts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive regional sales operational objectives by contributing insights and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; executing and finalizing action plans; pinpointing trends; strategizing regional sales system enhancements; enacting change.
- Attain regional sales financial goals by projecting requirements; dissecting variances; undertaking corrective measures.
- Formulate sales objectives by devising a comprehensive sales plan and quota to bolster national objectives.
- Enhance and grow the customer base; forge and sustain relationships with key clients; seek out new customer ventures.
- Advance job expertise by engaging in educational opportunities; scrutinizing professional publications; fostering personal networks; investigating consumer needs and market trends; monitoring competitors.
- Fulfill sales and organizational mission by delivering on related outcomes as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related scientific field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in complex technical sales and solutions, encompassing a thorough understanding of our products, technologies, markets, customers, and sales channels.
- Proven track record of independent work as well as successful collaboration with marketing, R&D, Engineering, and other departments to exceed targets.
- Expertise in engaging with various functional representatives (R&D, QA, Purchasing, etc.) within a client's organization, tailoring strategies to secure sales, and swiftly pinpointing key decision-makers.
- A creative and insightful approach to identifying market opportunities, derived from data analysis and robust marketing/sales relationships.
- Exceptional problem-solving, project management, and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a demonstrated focus on details and a commitment to timely completion of all tasks.
- Specialized experience in sales of optical test and measurement solutions for the display, lighting, medical diagnostic/imaging devices, or transportation industries, with a technical or scientific sales background being highly preferred.
- Outstanding communication abilities and a drive to work collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% to engage with customers and fulfill critical job functions.

Compensation Range | $83,000 to $133,000 + Commission
This position is eligible for experience specific compensation ranges based on candidate experience, compensation will be aligned and determined based on this criteria. Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
