EPIC Early Learning is seeking a highly motivated and passionate ECEAP Early Learning Coach to join our team. As a private, nonprofit organization, EPIC has been providing early childhood educational services to children and families in Central Washington for over 35 years. Our mission is to empower children to reach their full potential through nurturing relationships, engaging experiences, and high-quality education.

The ECEAP Early Learning Coach will play a critical role in providing coaching and support to early childhood educators in EPIC's Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP). You will collaborate with teachers and teaching teams to enhance the quality of instruction, curriculum, and classroom environments, leading to improved outcomes for children and families. Your expertise and guidance will be instrumental in promoting best practices and advancing the professional growth of educators.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and support to teachers and teaching teams in implementing evidence-based instructional practices and strategies at the East Wenatchee & Bridgeport Center
  • Conduct regular classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers to enhance teaching skills and improve instructional quality
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop individualized professional development plans based on their needs and goals
  • Lead and facilitate professional learning communities and workshops to support knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving
  • Model effective teaching practices and strategies through demonstration lessons and co-teaching opportunities
  • Collaborate with program leadership and colleagues to develop and revise curriculum materials
  • Stay up-to-date with research and best practices in early childhood education and coaching
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
  • Be committed to characterizing a culture of safety within our centers, playgrounds, buses, and anywhere that children may be present. Be familiar with and encourage EPICs culture of "See Something, Say Something".

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in early Childhood Education and be places on a Professional Development Plan to complete a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education within five years from date of hire.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in early childhood education settings
  • Demonstrated expertise in coaching and supporting early childhood educators
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices and strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
  • Experience in leading professional development workshops and collaborative learning communities
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and ability to tailor coaching strategies to individual needs
  • Proficient in using technology for communication and documentation purposes
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to travel to different program sites 50% of the time.
  • Passionate about promoting high-quality early childhood education and professional growth of educators
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License & auto Insurance

Pay Level: $24.00 to $26.00 Hourly (10 month position)

Conditions of Employment:

  1. Prior to employment, complete a pre-employment drug screen, Tb skin test by an EPIC approved healthcare provider at no cost to the employee.
  2. Pre-employment basic physical by an EPIC healthcare provider (obtain within (30) days of employment and no cost to the employee).
  3. Must pass an initial and periodic background check through the Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF).
  4. Provide proof of MMR vaccination and/ or resistance to Measles, Mumps & Rubella.
  5. Current Food Handlers card (obtain the training within 30 days of employment).
  6. Current First Aid/CPR card (obtain within thirty 30 days of employment).
  7. Complete Childcare Basics 30 hours STARS training within 3 months of hire
  8. Meet the minimum education requirements within the timeframe as stated in the performance standards.
  9. Complete Child Abuse and Neglect training and all other mandated training.
  10. CEO Approval.
