About the Company
Mindful Therapy Group is a company dedicated to empowering therapists, psychologists and nurse practitioners to dive into private practice, without doing all of the leg work that comes with it. We provide high-quality billing, marketing, and administrative services to independent mental health care providers across the Pacific Northwest. Since opening in 2011, we have partnered with over 1,500 providers throughout our twelve locations, and we are continuing to grow!
About the Role
The Credentialing Specialist will work with a team to complete insurance applications for our onboarding providers and maintain credentialing and business compliance pieces for all active mental health providers. The Credentialing Specialist works directly with the Compliance Manager, Credentialing Manager, other Credentialing Specialists, and the Onboarding team to maintain tight timelines. This position works continually towards building, updating, and maintaining credentialing insurance profiles as well as the providers internal compliance and credentialing files.
The ideal candidate for this role thrives in detailed data entry work while enjoying collaborating and communicating with a team. Mindful Support Services is a fast-growing company, and we are looking for motivated, goal-oriented individuals to grow with us.
Requirements
Responsibilities & Core Competencies
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of required compliance pieces, including clinical and business licenses and liability insurances.
- Assure compliance with all state laws, internal policies and health plan requirements as related to the provider certification and credentialing
- Identify which insurance carriers' providers are in network with and communicate interdepartmentally to ensure accurate information for client placements
- Ability to answer questions about timelines, delays, and status of credentialing applications as well as compliance requirements.
- Ability to complete data entry with a high degree of accuracy with a positive customer service attitude
- Knowledge of health care credentialing and billing process preferred but not required.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively and efficiently with team members.
