PLUS Communications leads award-winning campaigns integrating public affairs, corporate communications, digital, advertising and media buying.
We are looking for a full-time Social Listening Associate to support our digital team’s social media monitoring program. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starting individual who has a desire to learn and grow.
If you have an interest in researching legislative topics, monitoring social media platforms and analyzing data points, and a knack for reviewing policy – this role is for you!
Requirements
- 0-1 year of experience in public relations, data analysis, polling, research, communications or a related field, including internships
- Experience using digital marketing and social media tools
- Meticulous attention to detail
- A desire to get the job done, and done well, every day
- A positive, can-do attitude
- A relentless drive to produce high-quality work
- Exceptional writing ability
- Impeccable grammar and experience proofreading to ensure content is 100% error-free
- An interest in political and public affairs consulting
Your day in this position may include:
- Monitoring and interpreting social media topics and trends
- Analyzing data on social media platforms to identify emerging trends
- Writing detailed reports on your findings
- Assisting the digital team with ad hoc projects as needed
