We are looking for a dynamic Senior Instructional Systems Designer to join our team. The Senior Instructional Systems Designer will perform source material analysis to prepare for course design. The Senior Instructional Systems Designer will design courses to support goals and develop, and maintain instructional training materials including course curricula, student guides, job aids, and other content using established and effective ISD methodology. They will also develop audio, visual, and interactive media aids as well as create appropriate, professional, and engaging instructional materials that communicate the content. The Senior Instructional Systems Designer will assist with developing scenario-based education and other methods to increase learner engagement and motivation. They will Use P-ADDIE-M and Agile instructional models to design interactive and engaging learning activities and create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhance the retention and transfer of information. They will manage and complete projects within a specified timeline while prioritizing and working on multiple projects.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging instructional materials, including e-learning courses, interactive multimedia, and other digital learning resources
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure instructional integrity
- Conduct needs analysis and identify learning objectives to inform the design process
- Utilize instructional design models and best practices to create effective and engaging learning experiences
- Create storyboards, scripts, and prototypes to guide the development process
- Coordinate with multimedia specialists, graphic designers, and developers to produce high-quality learning products
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of instructional materials
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in instructional design and e-learning
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of proven experience in instructional design, preferably in the education or corporate training sector
- Able to obtain a minimum of NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) for a Veterans Affairs Public Trust Tier 1 Clearance
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning management systems
- Proficiency in using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software
- Familiarity with multimedia development tools and graphic design software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective stakeholder relationships
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality instructional materials
