Full Job Description

As the Business Development Manager at Paymerang, you will be a key contributor to the revenue growth of the organization. You will oversee a team of inside sales representatives and will be the driver for them to meet and exceed performance goals. You will get to coach and develop each team member, and you will be integral to top of funnel lead generation activity for the entire Sales organization. You’ll get to use cutting-edge sales tools to lead and develop your team. This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage a team of inside sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives, including appointment setting goals. 
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share. 
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to inside sales team members to enhance their sales skills and performance. 
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to track team and individual performance and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to optimize sales processes and enhance the customer experience. 
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their professional development and career growth. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. 
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and tactics. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tech tools. 

Requirements

Preferred Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • Proven track record of success as a full cycle sales representative, including experience in prospecting, qualifying leads, negotiating, and closing deals. 
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in inside sales or related field. 
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their goals. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with customers and colleagues. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics to drive informed decision-making. 
  • Previous experience with Salesforce and Outreach.
