Full Job Description

City Wide Facility Solutions is looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Night Manager in Norfolk, Virginia!

As the Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality control of general business operations, increasing client satisfaction, and effectively working with Independent Contractors (IC). You will work independently and collaboratively to ensure the highest level of service delivery in various types of facilities including industrial, manufacturing, office, medical, retail, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) by communicating client priorities and collaborating on problem-solving.
  • Review and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and attract new business.
  • Communicate with Facility Solutions Manager on a daily basis regarding any urgent issues and provide nightly recaps through email or phone.
  • Make recommendations for Independent Contractor work assignments and manage to client standards and company guidelines. Take necessary action if service level agreements are not met.
  • Handle inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, new client starts, and VIP treatments.
  • Execute City Wide's operational policies and procedures such as the New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, and Four Star Policy.
  • Ensure compliance with client policies and procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment, and their proper use.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in management, specifically coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team in multi-unit or multiple locations.
  • Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Innovation mindset and continuous process improvement orientation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and internet skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
