Electrical Graduate Engineer

Hire Resolve is currently searching for a skilled Electrical Graduate Engineer to join a premier architectural and engineering (A/E) services firm that specializes in the global design of secure, mission-driven facilities. The position is based in Glen Allen, VA with other positions available in Lexington, KY and Virginia Beach, VA.

Are you ready to take on the role of Electrical Graduate Engineer? Here's what you'll be doing:

• Creating and editing plans and BIM models
• Performing lighting and engineering calculations, and preparing cost estimates
• Selecting equipment and creating schedules, diagrams, and details
• Supporting construction phase activities like reviewing submittals and answering RFIs
• Editing and checking specifications and design documents
• Other tasks as needed, with occasional travel

This role is perfect for you if you have these skills:

• Proficiency in drawing software like Revit, AutoCAD, or Microstation
• Learning to complete lighting designs and telecom distribution designs
• Developing knowledge of relevant codes and standards
• Building relationships within the team and being proactive in learning and growth
• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Ensuring compliance with data privacy and security policies

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology; Degree must be ABET accredited, or acceptable to the State Board of Engineers for licensure as a professional engineer
• 0 - 4 years experience
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred; Expected to pass FE exam within 12 months of hiring/promotion
• Ability to obtain professional engineering license.
• US citizenship required; ability to obtain a security clearance preferred
