Batching Assistant

DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Batching Assistant to join our client's team. As a family-owned staffing company, we are dedicated to finding the best talent to support our clients' needs. As a Batching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of the batching production area, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in manually batching dry and liquid ingredients according to specifications
• Operate pumps, valves, and control systems to ensure accurate batching processes
• Perform basic laboratory testing and accurately record data
• Load and unload tanker trucks in compliance with FDA regulations
• Conduct tank and line cleanings using CIP systems and manage cleaning schedules
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP rules
• Operate forklift for material handling
• Ensure policies and safety procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in a production facility is preferred
• Forklift experience is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) and internet use
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Flexibility to work any shift, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50-75 pounds
