Vasion is currently seeking a personable, high energy HR Coordinator specializing in new hire onboarding. We are committed to making digital transformation attainable to everyone by building an affordable, integrated SaaS solution that simplifies business processes. In this role, you will work closely with hiring managers, HR, and team leaders to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience for new employees. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing the end-to-end onboarding process and ensuring that all new hires feel welcomed and supported from day one. You will be supporting various HR functions, L&D initiatives and providing exceptional administrative support to the People team and employees. This role is based on-site at Vasion’s headquarters in St. George, Utah
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule onboarding activities for new hires, including orientation sessions, training programs, and team introductions
- Create and maintain onboarding documents, including handbooks, welcome kits, and training resources
- Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, culture, and values
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Act as a point of contact for new employees and hiring managers throughout the onboarding process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into their respective roles
- Manage company swag for new hires and special events.
- Respond to HR inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate individuals.
- Identifies innovative and creative new ways to onboard new employees/reach a more scalable and measurable onboarding experience.
- Provide ongoing support to new hires during their initial weeks/months
- Assist with HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, surveys and HR process improvements.
- Provide support for Learning and Development initiatives and logistics including arranging travel, book lodging and assisting with agenda coordination.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and assessments, as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with HR laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide overall administrative support to the HR team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in new hire onboarding, HR, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures.
- Experience with HRIS systems and other HR software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and build positive relationships with new hires, People team members and employees at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with HRIS systems and onboarding software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements
- Passion for creating a positive onboarding experience for new employees
- Experience working as LMS admin a plus
