Full Job Description
Receiving/Inventory Responsibilities:
- Organize and store incoming materials
- Receiving truck orders
- Rotating inventory
- Stocking and doing cycle count/inventory audits
- Create receiving purchase orders and electronically receiving inventory within the WMS system.
- Prepare products to be received or shipped from warehouse/department Match actual product to associated documentation
- Research and resolve discrepancies between actual product and associated documentation
- Prepare reject inputs and track reject issues/occurrences
- Asist Supervisor to ensure that all negatives in locations are cleaned each day from WMS system
- Handle filing duties for all applicable documentation
- Assist in verifying receipt items for inventory or delivery to staff/plant floor.
- Perform frequent inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory
Front Office Admin Responsibilities:
- Full ownership for front office (FO) responsibilities
- Interface between staffing agencies, employees and leadership.
- Assist in setting plant schedules and tracking PTO/absent personnel.
- Work with plant leadership to ensure all shifts are staffed effectively.
- Welcoming all visitors at front office with professionalism
- Orchestrating the management of office equipment and vendor relations, arranging repair and servicing when necessary
- Responsible for answering external and internal calls and relaying accurate messages
- Managing and ordering for the office, vending, and miscellaneous office/plant supplies
- Restock all breakroom/kitchen cupboards and ensure vending machine is stocked with items weekly.
Physical/Visual Activities or Demands:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Skills:
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
- Able to meet or exceed project deadlines.
- Able to work in a fast pace environment.
- Spanish speaking skills are a plus.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Requirements
Needed Qualifications:
- Fluent in English (required) and conversational in Spanish (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in front desk preferred
- 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving
- Previous experience with handling the scheduling of personnel preferred
- Must be detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills
- Computer knowledge – proficient in current office applications.
- Previous WMS/Inventory software is a plus.
