The Vice President of Product Marketing is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the overall product marketing strategy, demand generation, positioning and go-to-market execution for the Ren payment platform, a modern end-to-end payments platform. The Vice President of Product Marketing will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, Solutions Consulting and Corporate to ensure the product is effectively positioned to meet market demands, achieve business objectives, and maximize revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the product marketing strategy to support overall business goals, including market analysis, competitive analysis, customer segmentation and customer insights.
  • Partner with Sales and Product Management to drive demand generation activities, and to align marketing campaigns and sales strategies with product offerings and market opportunities.
  • Create compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target customers and differentiate the company's products in the market.
  • Oversee the development of all product-related marketing content, including sales enablement tools, product demos, and case studies.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to define and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring successful market entry and adoption.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities and competitor activities, providing actionable insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product marketing initiatives and campaigns, reporting results to executive leadership.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing products in a B2B or B2C environment. Experience with payment products and solutions is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience working closely with Product Management, Sales, and other cross-functional teams
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and make informed decisions
