About the Role 

We are seeking UX Designer to work on projects on a freelance basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in user experience design while working on real projects that will directly impact our product offerings. As a UX Design Intern, you will collaborate with our development teams to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces for our applications. This is a great opportunity for someone currently in college or with some college experience looking to build a career in UX design.

In This Role You Will

• Collaborate with the design team to develop and refine user personas, user journeys, and wireframes.
• Assist in conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Support the team in developing design solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to improve our products.
• Work closely with developers to ensure design consistency and adherence to best practices.
• Present your design work to team members and stakeholders, articulating design rationale and incorporating feedback.

Requirements

A Key Candidate Will Have

• A portfolio showcasing your UX design projects, demonstrating your ability to solve user problems and create intuitive interfaces.
• Experience working with UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating delightful user experiences.

What does the interview process look like?

The process depends on the role. For all positions, we’ll start with an introduction call with our Talent team. 

From there, the interview process will vary by role. We typically do a longer call with one of our team members who can appropriately vet your skills & "speak your language" - on the engineering side, this might mean some technical questions, while on the sales side, we’ll ask you to build a quick presentation about yourself.
