Full Job Description
The Tourism Planner is responsible for planning, organizing, and booking resorts, flights, car rentals, activities, cruises, and more! This is an opportunity to learn more about the travel and tourism industry and provide additional opportunities for you to travel more as well. There are discounts offered to you as a Tourism Planner.
Responsibilities
- Determine the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services
- Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.
- Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
- Market vacation packages on social media
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of tourism trends, industry best practices, and destination marketing strategies is a plus.
- Travel experience is advantageous
- Authorized to work in the US and at least 18 years of age.
