Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager, you'll have an exciting opportunity to work closely with a small, passionate team dedicated to empowering small businesses and crafters. You’ll be at the heart of our cross-functional projects, coordinating efforts between Product, Design, and Engineering to bring impactful ideas to life. Your role will involve managing timelines, aligning resources, and keeping projects on track—ensuring we meet goals on time and within scope. Your contributions will be key in uniting our teams and delivering projects that enhance the customer experience, making a real difference for our creative and entrepreneurial community.

Candidate must be located in Eastern Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to establish clear project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, detailing schedules, task assignments, and resource allocations.
• Oversee project progress, identifying potential risks and addressing issues proactively. Escalate concerns when necessary to keep timelines on track.
• Conduct frequent updates and progress reviews with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and maintaining transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track key project milestones, KPIs, and deliverables. Communicate updates and results to stakeholders and leadership regularly.
• Maintain open communication channels within teams to ensure smooth collaboration and quickly resolve any obstacles.
• Keep all project documentation up-to-date, including status reports and post-project evaluations, for clear and accurate records.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in technology or e-commerce environments.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on their impact on the business.
• Strong communication abilities, capable of presenting complex information in an understandable way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with project management software (preferably Jira).
