Calling All Tax Experts (Who Hate Tax Mayhem!): ProvenCFO Needs You!
Are you known in your group of friends as the "Tax Guru", but you detest the long hours that usually roll around first quarter of every year? Are you an entrepreneur at heart, itching to build something awesome from the ground up?
Then ditch the long hours and join us at ProvenCFO!
We're not like any accounting firm you've ever worked for.
We don't care where you went to school.
We are VERY tech centric and forward-thinking, so bring your A game.
We're not your average accounting firm. We believe in work-life balance (seriously!), and we're on the hunt for a Tax Mastermind (experience welcome, but passion is a must!) to launch our very own Tax Department.
You'll need to start as a consultant with us. This can grow into a full-time in-house position.
This is your chance to:
- Become the Da Vinci of Deductions: Craft beautiful, efficient systems that make filing taxes feel like a victory lap, not a marathon.
- Assemble Your A-Team: Recruit and train fellow tax ninjas, fostering a collaborative force that's as fun as it is productive.
- Be the Boss (Without the Boss Headaches): This is your chance to build a department that reflects your unique style and expertise. Forget TPS reports, this is your tax playground!
Bonus points if you:
- Can explain tax loopholes like a master storyteller (think captivating narratives, not mind tricks).
- Believe that spreadsheets can be beautiful (seriously, they can!).
- Have a contagious enthusiasm for all things tax-related (or at least a killer meme collection).
This ain't your grandpa's tax gig. We're building something special, and we need someone who's ready to take charge and make it happen. Are you in?
This is a crawl, walk, run position starting as a contractor.
Requirements
- Tax Master: A strong understanding of tax code, regulations, and accounting principles is a must.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a Tax-Related Field: A strong foundation in accounting principles and tax regulations is essential.
- Spreadsheet Sorcerer: Proficiency in tax software and a knack for building efficient systems are key.
- Team Captain Extraordinaire: Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential for building a thriving department.
- People Person (with Limits): While you don't need to love explaining deductions to everyone, you should be able to communicate complex tax concepts clearly.
- Self-Starter with Vision: This is your chance to build a department from the ground up. Entrepreneurial spirit and a results-oriented mindset will be key.
Bonus points for:
- Experience using Corvee Software
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA): It's not required, but a CPA designation will definitely set you apart.
- Experience in a Fast-Paced Environment: Thriving in a dynamic and growing company is a plus.
- Undying Enthusiasm (or at least a good sense of humor): Let's face it, taxes can be complex. A positive attitude goes a long way.
