Sustainable Business Development Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the development, management, and customer reporting related to NABC Public Sector contractual commitments for sustainable business practices.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Review customer specifications, contracts, industry standards and federal procurement requirements to identify sustainable business practices.
  • Lead cross-functional contributors through the review of sustainable business requirements in procurements.
  • Develop and maintain a central repository of requirements, certifications, and supporting documentation for bid certifications and compliance audits.
  • Identify potential future requirements utilizing data from the sales funnel, customer health dashboard, CRM database, Master Production Schedule forecast and other support documentation. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Public Relations team to determine upcoming grants and notice of funding opportunities with sustainability commitments. 
  • Monitors industry and competitor sustainable business programs to evaluate trends and develop strategies to maintain a competitive position in the market.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for all sustainable business contract commitments. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • University degree in Business, Political Studies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in managing projects.
  • Familiarity with sustainable business practices and B2G contractual terms and conditions.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to manage time effectively and competing demands.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
