About the Role
The Supply Planner will be responsible for the planning of our Wellmore brands to ensure optimal inventory levels for our warehouses. The individual will work closely with our suppliers and cross-functional partners including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Demand Planning to develop and execute purchase plans and supply levels. As forecasts change and/or supply disruptions occur, the planner will help identify, quantify, and communicate risks, and opportunities with internal partners, suppliers, co-manufacturing, and support Wellmore’s inventory planning process.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute supply chain plans to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory costs and maximizing service levels.
- High level of collaboration with Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Demand Planning during the S&OP process.
- Strengthen and maintain relationships with co-manufacturing partners, ensuring effective and active communication of information.
- Create Purchase Orders and coordinate with partners to ensure they will be fulfilled on time and in full.
- Lead warehouse collaboration to ensure product is properly inbounded, rotated and shipped.
- Review and maintain inventory levels with the goal of ensuring an in-stock position with minimal aging while achieving targeted turns.
- Liaise with Logistics team and supplier to ensure timely shipment and delivery of all Purchase Orders.
- Manage Slow Moving SKUs to proactively report exposure and liability risk to sales and management.
- Monitor weekly and monthly production plans, prioritizing production as needed and manage weekly exceptions.
- Plan both short- and long-term to align supply to support sales based on demand needs.
- Project forward-looking inventory positions.
- Facilitate collaboration meetings with stakeholders and vendors to review purchase forecasts, proposed orders, and other operational issues. Own and drive action through weekly S&OE meetings.
- Develop new tools to improve communication and drive decision making.
- Engage in continuous improvement as it relates to processes and material availability.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
- 3+ years relevant experience in supply chain, inventory planning, forecasting or procurement
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities, meticulous and extreme accuracy required
- Strong knowledge of S&OP processes (demand planning, inventory management processes)
- Proficient Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, intermediate functions)
- Extensive spreadsheet analysis
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices
- Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems (NetSuite Preferred)
- CPG industry experience preferred; Food and Beverage industry an asset
- Experience working with Contract Manufacturing partners
- Experience with raw lead times & expirations preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Long-term (12+month) strategic planning experience preferred
- Certified or working toward certification as CPIM or CSCP by APICS preferred

The annual base salary range for this position is $65,000-75,000 USD/year. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to: location, education, skills, training, and experience. This position may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
