The Role

As a KMS Technology Sr. Sales Executive, you’ll have the opportunity to drive net new client acquisition in our Commercial organization. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and selling KMS Technology consulting and software development services to US based mid-market and enterprise ISVs and commercial organizations who leverage technology as their core business. 

Expectations

Holding extensive customer-facing experience in Software Development Services, you will have a broad understanding of the markets KMS Technology operates in, with demonstrated practical knowledge of the business drivers that translate into technical requirements. You will lead with a consultative mindset working with prospective customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique business and technical goals and challenges. You will self-source leads leveraging your network, prospect target accounts and facilitate inbound leads. A valued member of the KMS Technology family, you will contribute to our business growth in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere where you will

  • Prospect new opportunities targeting mid-market an enterprise ISV/software companies through networking, social media, email, calls and additional prospecting channels
  • Consistently drive $3-5M+ in revenue
  • Maintain consistent 4x pipeline
  • Identify and BANT-qualify inbound leads and prospects
  • Create and manage pursuit strategies leveraging target prospect plans and associated assets
  • Understand the client's business priorities, validating at all levels including senior management and technical personnel
  • Effectively communicate KMS Technology offerings, differentiators and our value proposition
  • Conduct sales discussions, identify client needs and involve the right SMEs to demonstrate our capabilities
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships with internal SMEs and onshore/offshore delivery teams
  • Build and/or assist in the creation and delivery of presentations, proposals, MSAs, SOWs, etc.
  • Drive the sales cycle to close, presenting contracts and negotiating with prospects
  • Focus on data hygiene and manage/forecast opportunities accurately through the sales funnel
  • Align to quarterly and annual KPIs
  • Travel up to 30% for prospect meetings and networking events

Requirements

  • 8+ years proven sales experience in near/offshore software development services
  • Success as a hunter, building and cultivating a professional network
  • Proven experience driving consistent business (deal size from $500K - $1M+)
  • Ability to generate pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment
  • Efficient management of a target list of prospect accounts
  • Business acumen advising the C-suite and Product/Technology leadership
  • Ability to create demand by uncovering business problems/initiatives aligned to KMS Technology solutions
  • Open to all applicants physically located in the United States.
