Job Summary:
As the Sr. Program Manager, you will be responsible for implementation and management of the continental United States Maintenance, Repair, and Operation (MRO) programs, ensuring the required process, measurement, and controls are in place to achieve contractual requirements and profitability targets. You will provide leadership to the customer, procurement, and agency facing teams for all CONUS MRO contracts. You will lead by example in a fast-paced and agile environment, shifting gears as needed to provide support at the strategic, managerial, and tactical level fostering a team-focused environment that encourages others to learn and to grow.
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Continental United States (CONUS) Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) programs, providing leadership to regional program managers, strategic direction, and oversight of program performance.
- Monitor and manage program performance to contractual metrics and work collaboratively with team members to rapidly address shortfalls and negative trends.
- Monitor and maintain strong agency-level relationships across programs.
- Oversee accountability for the supply-chain and it’s required deliverables.
- Ensure processes and procedures are clear and consistently executed, staff are well trained, reporting efforts are accurate and consistent, contracts are sufficiently staffed and potential issues are escalated urgently to avoid losses or negative performance metrics.
- Conduct regular customer analysis to review margin, growth, and loss within current customers. Drives focused customer outreach efforts based on analysis to drive sales.
- Support business development opportunities. Provides insight, contributes to proposal strategy and implementation processes upon successful award of new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to build strategic priorities and action plans.
- Visit customer sites and company headquarters to troubleshoot operational challenges, discuss relationship status, and seek order opportunities.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Recruit staff to include interviewing, hiring, assigning work, training, coaching, mentoring, and ensuring consistent application of employee guidelines, processes, and procedures.
- Conduct team and one-on-one meetings and foster personal growth opportunities.
- Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising work; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to lead a hybrid and remote staff from a remote location, assign projects and tasks for maximum productivity.
Requirements
- Higher education preferred. May include military personnel who have been formerly trained or have relevant experience in lieu of civilian experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of related work experience in contract or sales management. Government sales experience preferred. 3 years of direct managerial experience, providing strategic directions, coaching, and mentoring.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and develop meaningful relationships and conduct business in a confident, articulate, and professional manner.
- Highly meticulous and organized to execute multiple projects at once, adhering to deadlines.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and metrics to identify patterns and trends and interpret information in ways to support a solution.
- Proven ability to shift focus as needed and independently negotiate and resolve situations
- Self-driven and proactive in nature with a strong sense of accountability that takes initiative to resolve challenges and complete tasks under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates strong team building qualities such as assisting team members and collaborating with internal departments of varying levels of expertise, when necessary.
- PC proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
