Jacuzzi Group is a leading manufacturer of hot tubs, swim spas, baths, showers, saunas, and equipment. With our headquarters in California and operations all over the world, Jacuzzi Group has been providing innovative wellness solutions for over 65 years. The Sr. Lean Manager will play a pivotal role in building Jacuzzi's lean culture. This person will work closely with the operations leaders to establish a lean culture that will drive continuous improvement across all functions in the organization.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices throughout our multi-site operations.
- Analyzes, measures, and reports the effectiveness of existing operational processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.
- Prepare and present strategic plans in support of long-range and short-range objectives.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by translating Lean concepts into actionable objectives.
- Conduct training sessions to equip employees with Lean tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in Lean initiatives and improvements.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to drive process enhancements.
- Monitor project progress and track performance metrics to assess the impact of Lean initiatives.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure best practices are implemented and maintained.
- Report on the status of Lean initiatives to senior management and propose further improvements.
- Must be willing to travel internationally.
Compensation is $130,000+ depending on experience
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on Lean practices and 6S methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Lean Certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt) is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading Lean initiatives within manufacturing and distribution environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Exceptional communication and training capability.
- Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools.
- Results-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Strong collaborator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
WORK PLACE CONDITIONS
The employee will frequently use a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and viewing a computer screen. Employee may be required to sit for extended periods of time in front of a computer screen. Employee must work in manufacturing environment on a daily basis. Employee must wear required PPE for the working environment.
