Compensation: $150,000–$170,000 + Equity

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of building and scaling features across the platform using React, TypeScript, and Node.js. As a key team member, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the technical direction of our product and work in a collaborative environment that values scrappiness and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and performant fullstack applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and maintain APIs, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices in software development.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing to elevate the team’s technical expertise.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of our platform.
• Debug and resolve complex issues across the stack to ensure a seamless user experience.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer, with a strong focus on React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Proven experience building and maintaining scalable web applications in a production environment.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in front-end development using React, including hooks, state management, and component design.
• Backend experience with Node.js and building RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for deploying and managing applications.
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Familiarity with modern development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter mentality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.

• Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience working in the healthcare or fintech space.
• Knowledge of additional cloud services or serverless architectures.
