The Sr. Data Analyst at The Willows Communications plays a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong analytical mind and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. The Sr. Data Analyst works closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver high-quality analyses.
Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends that contribute to business strategies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into key metrics and performance indicators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, ensuring accurate and effective reporting and analysis.
- Utilize statistical methods to validate findings and test hypotheses, ensuring the reliability of insights presented.
- Present analytical results and recommendations to management and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on data analysis tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends in data analytics and recommend new tools and techniques that could enhance analytical capabilities.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices for data management and governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a communications or marketing environment.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in creating and presenting reports that drive actionable insights.
