Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head of Social & Community Marketing to oversee our social media, influencer, and community strategy and execution. This individual will work closely with our support and product teams to build and nurture our community, ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging experience for all users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Social Marketing Strategy:
- Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch.
- Manage influencer partnerships to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop and refine the community roadmap, aligning it with overall company goals.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of social media channels, ensuring consistent, engaging, and on-brand content.
- Develop a content calendar that includes posts, stories, videos, and live streams to drive engagement and growth.
- Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with gaming influencers and content creators.
- Coordinate influencer campaigns, track performance, and optimize for better reach and engagement.
- Engage with the community through social media, forums, and in-app interactions to foster a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Organize and manage community events, contests, and activities to boost engagement and user retention.
- Develop engaging content, including posts, newsletters, and updates, to keep the community informed and excited about new features and events.
- Monitor social media and community metrics to measure engagement, identify trends, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Provide regular reports on social media performance and community engagement.
- Ensure community guidelines are followed, promote positive behavior, and manage moderation efforts to maintain a safe environment.
- Gather and relay community feedback to the product team to inform feature development and improvements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in social media management, influencer marketing, and community management, preferably within the gaming industry.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse community.
- Tools: Proficiency with social media management tools and platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Passion: Deep understanding of gaming culture and a passion for creating positive, inclusive online communities.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
