This position is responsible for sales in the Southwest region, including states such as Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico.
We are seeking a growth-oriented sales leader in multiple regions. The company's success across the U.S. and Canada and dominance in California have demonstrated the power of network effects and viral growth within particular regions and markets. Various regions of the U.S. have strong growth potential due to the high number of large metros, firefighters, and regional 911 centers. To help deliver on our expansion potential, we are looking for a sales leader with A) a strong, senior-level network within the fire service in the Southwest region B) a technical orientation and strong capability for communicating the value of Tablet Command within the fire service.

Tablet Command is an enterprise SaaS company founded in 2012 by firefighters for firefighters and is the leading mobile incident command and response solution for fire departments across the U.S. The software increases situational awareness, speeds incident response, streamlines incident management, and improves firefighter accountability. Tablet Command has over 700 agencies amongst +120 accounts in North America and Canada, including some of the country's largest metros and 911 centers.
Position Summary
As the Southwest Regional Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and growing strategic accounts within a group of states. You will have a set of named accounts to target that Tablet Command has identified as high potential for growth. You will have business development, sales engineering, and procurement resources to support sales efforts, but you should possess a hunter mentality, a strong drive to generate new business, and the ability to pitch and demonstrate Tablet Command's value to customers effectively.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue high-potential accounts within a given territory
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the fire service
- Collaborate with business development, sales engineering, and procurement teams to close deals
- Provide regular updates on the sales pipeline and progress to management
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape
- Represent Tablet Command at industry events and conferences
Requirements
We have a strong preference for candidates who have either or both of the following experiences:
- Direct SaaS sales experience selling into the fire service in a given region
- Seniority in the fire service in a given region with demonstrated skills and potential to sell into fire departments at executive levels
In addition, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation and a strong drive to exceed sales targets
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel within region as needed
- Technical orientation and ability to effectively communicate the value of Tablet Command
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Compensation
For this position, the On-Target Earnings (OTE) is $250,000, which is divided equally between base salary and variable compensation. This means the base salary is $125,000, and the variable component is also $125,000. High performers have the potential to earn significantly more, with annual earnings exceeding $350,000.
