About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented songwriter to compose an original theme song for their series. This project offers an opportunity for a creative musician to contribute to an emerging animated series in the fantasy genre. The ideal candidate will be able to capture the essence of the show's magical world through music and lyrics, creating a memorable and engaging theme song.
Responsibilities:
- Compose an original melody and lyrics for the theme song
- Collaborate with the show creator to understand the series' tone, themes, and target audience
- Create a song that reflects the fantasy elements and overall atmosphere of the show
- Develop lyrics that introduce or hint at key aspects of the series
Requirements
- Proven experience in songwriting, preferably with some background in creating theme songs or music for visual media
- Strong understanding of musical composition and lyric writing
- Ability to create catchy, memorable melodies suitable for an animated series
- Familiarity with fantasy genres and their musical conventions
- Proficiency in music production software for creating demo recordings
