About the Role
Our client, An EDM producer is currently seeking a skilled freelancer with expertise in songwriting and vocal recording. This is a remote, long-term engagement, and the producer is looking to make a paid hire immediately. The primary requirement is assistance in songwriting and vocal recording to help sculpt the unique sound of the EP. The candidate does not need to work at a specific location and can deliver their exceptional talent from anywhere.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the EDM producer to understand the creative vision and direction for the EP.
- Write compelling and engaging lyrics that complement the EDM genre and the producer's musical style.
- Compose melodies, hooks, and vocal lines that seamlessly integrate with the producer's electronic music productions.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience as a songwriter and lyricist, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful collaborations in the EDM and pop music genres.
- Proficiency in vocal recording and the ability to deliver exceptional vocal performances.
- Excellent command of melody writing, lyrics composition, and vocal arrangement.
- Familiarity with music production software and workflows is a plus.
