Acentra seeks a Solution Architect (Developer Specialist) to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
This position is for a Solution Architect (Software Developer Specialist) responsible for successful delivery of ACENTRA’s technology initiatives. Candidates for this role will be supporting the development for Sales, Growth and Business Development requirements working cohesively with other software developers/leads/subject matter experts, database administrators, architects, data quality analysts, and other teams, as well as manage client relationships within the context of an individual role.

Job Responsibilities:
- Functions as an individual contributor and works independent of supervision with minimally defined guidelines.
- Works on moderately complex projects that require knowledge across multiple technologies and programs.
- Interacts with functional teams and is part of solution development.
- Supports maintenance of ACENTRA’s overall enterprise architecture integrity and vision.
- Assists in continuous monitoring of the models and updates as necessary to show changes, additions, and alterations.
- Collaboratively works with project teams to evaluate technology solutions and create solutions design.
- Provides status updates to leadership.
- Proactively identifies and escalates risks and issues to leadership and assists in developing solutions.
- Assists in providing technical and functional knowledge to Development team.
- Demonstrates enterprise architecture expertise, presenting demonstrations to clients, etc.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies, best practices, and procedures; and applies them to projects to ensure that architecture objectives are achieved.
- Understands the development of software applications for implementation.
- Continues to build and demonstrate knowledge of the process of developing and maintaining applications.
- Understands and interprets requirements.
- Assists in discovery and documentation of the customer’s business scenarios.
- Keeps abreast of new technology and market developments.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Full stack developer familiar on
- Front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Frameworks such as AngularJS, Bootstrap
- Server-side languages such as Java, J2EE, ASP.NET
- Database Management Systems (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Cloud native design, develop, and managing cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services.
- Mobile technologies, responsive user interface design, and SOA
- Cloud computing such as AWS, Oracle, Azure
- Modelling languages such as UML, SysML
- Domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, or healthcare verticals.
- Highly organized with analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to task and project changes.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with varying priorities.
- Demonstrates flexibility in working under demands and needs of the project.
- Awareness of program, project, change management, and development methodologies and tools.
- Awareness of managing business change.
- Moderate understanding of contract law
- Understanding of business modeling and business process design, data design, application and services design, and architecture principles design.
- Understanding of IT standards.
- Understanding of building block design and creating architecture views and viewpoints design.
- Knowledge of web-based services.
- Background in infrastructure and asset management.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Awareness of service-level agreements (SLA).
- Awareness of migration planning.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and clearly convey the architectural design to the development teams to facilitate the implementation of required modifications.
- Ability to apply innovation, creativity, and improvement to the architecture/development processes and to be able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of SharePoint applications, WebEx, Skype, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio, with a working knowledge of the rest of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Good facilitation skills.
- Should be able to support high level and detailed presentations to the target audience.
- Good record of accomplishment in all aspects of the software development life cycle.
- Requires the ability to develop needs assessment methods, both qualitative and quantitative research for information related to databases of public health.
- Must possess the ability to work independently on assigned projects, especially cross-functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of individuals; attention to detail; ability to work independently.
- Moderate understanding of data protection law, such as HIPAA, PHI/PII.
- Travel will be required.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $118,600.00 - $178,000.00
“Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.”
