Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Quality Assurance Stack:

We use TestRail for test management, Jira for bug tracking, and Reflect.run, Percy.io, and Cypress for automated end-to-end web testing.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Design, Product & Engineering teams throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) to understand feature requirements, provide quality assurance perspective, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Design, implement, and maintain a robust release testing process for the bi-weekly release schedule. This includes activities such as requirement and design analysis, test planning, test case creation, test execution, defect management, regression testing, and post-release monitoring.
• Maintain and optimize QA tools and processes (such as TestRail and Reflect.run) to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing efforts.
• Conduct regular reviews of monitoring tools like Sentry, Mixpanel, and FullStory to identify issues, perform RCA, and participate in debugging and resolution activities.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and maintain a roadmap for testing automations (e.g. Cypress) to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues and provide feedback on user experience and usability.
• Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the quality assurance domain to continuously improve Koda's quality assurance processes.
• Actively participate in agile development processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a manual software tester
• Experience with QA at a venture-backed software company
• Fluent in English
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
• Strong proficiency in software testing methodologies and techniques
