Software Developer - ServiceNow

ARETUM, a reputable government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a skilled and experienced Software Developer with expertise in ServiceNow to join our team. As a Software Developer at ARETUM, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions for our federal clients.

Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed analyses of defined application specifications, designing complex solutions, and writing code/configuring software to implement those solutions.
• Preparing associated technical documentation, block diagrams, and logic flowcharts
• Preparing sample test data, conducting testing, and analyzing test results.
• Recommending strategies for debugging program errors and independently performing complex software development tasks.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of experience performing the tasks described above for Service Now solutions. Comparable experience with Nuvolo solutions is desired, but not required.
• Three (3) years of experience developing, configuring, and/or testing solutions that utilize screen-reader technology.
• Experience with JAWS is preferred.
• SAFe Fundamentals or Scrum Master certification

Preferred qualifications include

• Government Contracting Experience
• knowledge of Scrum Agile development methodologies
• Experience creating a custom website presence
• Familiarity and experience with Section 508 standards
• Experience with IT security
• Azure DevOps experience

Other Requirements

• The right candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical disciplines.
• The nature of being a federal contractor is that the client gets to regulate a few aspects:
• This person must also be able to pass a Public Trust background check/clearance required by the Federal client.
